Flutewise is extremely well-known for providing inspiration, motivation and support for young flute players through our events, workshops and residential courses.

 Our Mission

Since 1988, when Liz Goodwin founded Flutewise, our organisation has provided fantastic services to young flute players, their parents and their teachers. Throughout all of these years Flutewise has been renowned for our vast number of fun, educational events. Ranging from small events lasting a few hours to two day events for over 1,000 young players, Flutewise events have taken place both in the UK and in countries all over the world. Residential courses for young flute players also take place at least twice a year.

In 2010 the well-respected quarterly Flutewise magazine was succeeded by our website which is designed with the enjoyment, education and safety of young people in mind and is packed full of music and relevant articles for flute players of all standards.

Flutewise is a registered charity run by a small team of volunteers.

If you like what we do and would like to support us by making a donation you can make one here. Whatever you give will be gratefully received and every penny will be used directly to support young flute players.
