🎶 About Flutewise

Flutewise launched in 1988 with one big goal:
To inspire young people to fall in love with flute playing—and we’ve been doing just that ever since!

What started as a small quarterly magazine has grown into a global flute community filled with music, creativity, and joy. From local Flute Days to massive events at the Barbican Centre (yes, over 5,000 people in just two days!), Flutewise has created unforgettable musical moments for young players across the world.

💖 Why It Matters

Flutewise isn’t just about playing music—it’s about building confidence, creating community, and having serious fun with the flute. Whether you're just picking up the instrument or have been playing for years, there’s a place for you here.

Join us, be inspired, and let’s make music together! 🎵

As a registered charity, Flutewise is run by a small but passionate team of volunteers. If you love what we do and would like to support us, we’d be incredibly grateful for any donation—every penny goes directly towards helping young flute players thrive. You can make a donation here.
